Defensor appeared in The Revenge of Bruticus. On the fourth season,the Protectbots were last seen with Ultra Magnus trying to stop Galvatron.

Defensor appeared in comic #59,Defensor Attacks. While Ultra Magnus stops the Waspinator, the other Autobots create Defensor, to help Superion. When he came out, Defensor attacked Bruticus and Menasor.
